Look what I did!

Last night I taught myself how to make my own layouts for my blog! What do you think? I was getting so frustrated, but by 10:00 I had this one to show for it! Livie would go around the house and say "Mom is a genius" because that is what I was yelling from the office! If any of you want to know how...let me know! This cute paper and elements are courtesy of summertimedesigns.blogspot.com.

It won't stop!

In case you have been living under a rock (those of you in Utah) the snow keeps on coming and shows no signs of stopping. Leaving me to wonder if this is going to be such a huge storm that power goes out leaving us to freeze to death, you can't leave your house because the snow is 10 feet high, stores close down so there is no way for you to get food, and schools shut down leaving your children cooped up inside driving you crazy and then to top it all off everything is covered is snow and a deep freeze happens like in the movie The Day After Tomorrow. If you haven't seen it, I DON'T suggest it because then whenever the weather gets a little questionable you will end up an exaggerating, worst case scenario, paranoid psycho. I'm glad I don't know anyone like that!

Mama Mia!

Brad's parents took us to Las Vegas yesterday to see Mama Mia! It was sooooo good! I have seen the movie seven times, so to see the musical was way fun. Brad has never seen the movie, but he really enjoyed it. I wanted to dance and sing, but everyone sat like lumps on a log! What gives? Anyway, it was nice to get away the two of us.....did I mention my parents watched the kids! They had so much fun making sugar cookies and tree ornaments and who knows what else they did....they won't tell! Funny thing is, as soon as my parents left, Livie turned to me and said, "Well mom? What fun thing are we going to do now that your home?" Guess we're not as fun as Grandma and Grandpa!

We rode on the scariest tram to ever exist! That is why I am hiding from all the crazies!

This is my $7.99 bottle of water! We had to document it because that will NEVER happen again!

Brad and I love musicals....we have seen like 7-8 together!

Twilight revisited

I went and saw Twilight again for the second time, and this time it was soooo much better! I think when I saw it I was sooo tired and so sick of girls EVERYWHERE! Last night there were no 12 year olds screaming in my ear, no commentary each time a character appeared onscreen, no shrills every time Edward came on (just those of me and my friend Jana...lol). It was fun. I'm happy. Edward....still hot.

Hey people...I'm back!

So your all probably wondering where I have been? Our internet crashed and the lovely people at a certain phone company, that I won't mention, were on a Qwest to try and fix this problem. They finally did at around 8:30 this morning! Hallelujah! I have been going crazy! Anyway....we have had quite a bit going on and not to be able to blog about it was kind of depressing. I think I had blogitis. Thanksgiving was wonderful, thanks to my amazing cook of a mother, I taught her everything she knows. Black Friday shopping was a blast! My little nephew turned 2, time goes by sooo fast. My mom had her 30th birthday, my sis in law had a birthday....I'm birthdayed out! Wait....Brad has a birthday on the 28th, then Jake on the 12th of Jan, then father in law on Feb 1 and Hannah on Feb 5th. Holy Crap! We try once a week to have a "Sleep over" with the kids. They get to sleep in our room and pick out a movie and we eat crap for like 2 hours. It's so much fun. This last one we gave the kids presents. Cute backpacks that held a sleeping bag, flashlight and water bottle. They loved em! Especially Boston. We watched Home Alone and Polar Express. I think we all finally fell asleep at 12:30!

Why, why, why?

Saw the movie. Didn't like the movie. Bummed. Edward was still hot. What did you think?

Never thought we would make it....it's good to be home!

Let's just say that a two hour delay, in the airplane, on the runway, does not make nice with a one and a half year old! And Hannah in the background pouting because she wants to slide on the airplane slides and mom telling her that's not possible!(Advice: Don't let a 6 year old look at the safety pamphlet!)

Yep...We are still here

Yesterday we went to the Animal Kingdom. We took a safari ride and Hannah insisted I take a picture of everything little thing we saw on it so she could show her class at school. She said "They would TOTALLY freak out!" at the pictures! lol! Brad, Hannah and I rode a ride called Everest. So much fun. Hannah is riding rides that amaze me. That girl won't go on anything at Lagoon, so weird. Anyway, this pic is of Brad and Hannah getting the very front row (the best spot). This pic is classic.
You must click on the pic to get the best view of her face.

Behind us is the tree from Lion King

This sums up that day!

Today we went to Epcot. Definitely less crowded there. They had lots of rides for the kiddies and a gorgeous country part for the adults. The kids LOVED the Nemo ride and aquariums. We were there for like 2 hours! There was also this huge water fountain and when it went off you got drenched. I think it's the girls mission to get soaked by something everyday!

This sums up day four....I am getting parked out!

Greeting from DisneyWorld!

Yes I am blogging from Florida....my dad is anxious to see pics so this is for you! It is 10:45 here and kids are sleeping so what better time hu? First of all, I want to work at Disney as the flying Tinkerbell that goes from the top of the castle to who knows where! So fun, you don't deal with the people you just fly over them, what could be better? We are having a blast! It's amazing this park, all the detail to EVERYTHING...and it works like clock work. So far the favorite rides are the teacups (barf..we've been on them 4-5 times), Peter Pan and Splash Mtn. We ate dinner at the princess castle (way fun), I have a battle wound from a tiara (I'll explain later), and Stu is trying to get Jasmine's phone number (hahaha). The park is gorgeous decorated for Christmas! The castle has lit icicles everywhere, the girls want to sleep there, but we tell them it's just not possible! Here are so pics to enjoy. There are a ton! We are going to Animal Kingdom and Epcot tomorrow so wish us luck and short lines!

Check out the dudes backpack behind me....YODA! Brad wanted one, I said NO WAY!

Yes I am still alive!

Hello my peeps...I have been a blog slacker. I've been dealing with Hannah and her pox, being sick myself and trying to get ready for our trip! Craziness I tell you! So this will be my last post until we get back. My kids are so excited they can't even stand it, I myself am trying to get pumped up for the long plane ride there. Hallelujah for my friend Sally loaning us her DVD player! What a life saver she is....thanks again Sally! A funny story for you all before I sign off....when Hannah was 2 we went to Disneyland. She was obsessed with Ariel. She had the whole Ariel outfit on. We sat anxiously waiting for her to show and when she finally did Hannah was so excited! She ran up to Ariel and Ariel said, "What a cute shirt you have on with my picture." And Hannah said, "Look, I have you on my underwear too!" And Hannah pulled her shorts right down to her ankles! I almost peed my pants! So we are off to meet the mouse and turn Disney world upside down (and no child of mine will be wearing character underwear). Love you all and I'll be blogging soon....

What is red, blistery and itchy all over?

Free Smileys & Emoticons at Clipart of.com
This is what I am dealing with right now. Hannah has gone the pox....chicken pox that is! Yippie for us! We have had to postpone our trip until the week incubation is complete. So hurray that will still get to go, hopefully Boston or Liv don't get it while we are in Florida or we will be driving our butts home. Can't fly if you have the pox. Hannah's takin it like a trooper though. She's fine besides the fact that "they itch like crazy mom!" Poor thing. We lotion like crazy and take anti itch baths. That's about all you can do. I'm so sick of sick.....know what I mean. Tis the season!

It went by too fast...

Here is a rundown of our entire week of Halloween festivities! First of all the costumes. Livie wanted to be Tinkerbell because the movie was coming out and she just loves Peter Pan and wants to fly. Boston was a pirate because I LOVE pirates, actually only one pirate, and Boston is still so young that I can dress him in what I want him to wear. Hannah wanted to be Sharpay from High School Musical. I had no objections I just told her she had to wear a shirt under her sleevless outfit (a modesty thing we are trying to teach her), to which she threw an absolute fit and I said, "Well you don't have to try to get the Sharpay attitude down, you already act like her!" That girl. Holy crap am I worn out! We went to my parents ward carnival and the kids absolutely loved it. Since Hannah was born we haven't missed it! Even when we lived in New York we flew back here for Halloween. That's how much we love Halloween in my fam. Uncle Jake was so cute to take the kids to each game and teach them how to play! They love him!

Next was livie's trunk or treat for her preschool...

These are her two favorite friends Brylee and Avery...sorry Robyn I probably blotched that. To top of the trunk or treat, I locked my keys in my car....super fun times I tell ya!

Next Hannah had a parade at her school. Boston threw our camera while we were waiting so it was all messed up, that why the pics are dark and funny.

And finally our most favorite....The Sawyer Halloween Party! In case you have all been in the dark, my mom is know for her ohhhh so yummy cheese soup and chilli, which she makes every year! And pretty much only on Halloween so we are craving it like crazy! It was so nice outside when we went trick or treating, but then it started to pour. I'm glad we went out when we did! Anyway, it was a fun and busy Halloween. I'm kinda sad it's all over. Hope all of yours were just as fun!

Ever feel like this?

Yes today was one of these, "I have had ENOUGH!" days. You know the ones where you're sick of being the maid, the cook, the chauffeur. Yes I broke. Not a very pretty sight in our household tonight. And to top it all off the hubby got invited to the Jazz game right in the middle of my ranting and telling everyone how unappreciated I felt. The poor guy didn't even know what hit him. I said go enjoy your wonderful evening away from here, be my guest, have a GREAT TIME....no sarcasm whatsoever (that's a lie). In my hubby's defense he said he would stay home. I made him go. I wanted the night to be alone. Please tell me I'm not alone in this ladies. Has this ever happened in your house? And if you say no I might consider you a liar...lol. So the kids get an early bedtime, 7:30, and I get to enjoy my evening of quiet. Oh what will I do? Oh yeah...laundry.

A Jack-a-what?

Tonight for FHE we made caramel apples and carved our pumpkins. The kids had a great time....they always do when it comes to completley destroying the kitchen and themselves. Brad cut the tops of the pumpkins off and let the girls go to town. Livie asked, "What is that in the pumpkin. All that yucky stuff?" Hannah being the delicate one said, "That's the pumpkins throw up!" I was dying....so funny. Hannah then told Liv if she ate a pumpkin seed, a pumpkin would grow in her tummy like a baby. lol.

Here is Boston with his pumpkin.....

And here is Boston after I took it away, cuz he was eating paint.

My mummy pumpkin....isn't it cute?

Livie so proud!

Hannah saw a dog right at the moment I took this! lol

Finally....HSM3!

The much anticipated movie has arrived. Last night me and the girls and Aunt Jeana went to see High School Musical 3. The girls were bouncing off the walls, they won't even go to sleep on Thursday night for fear that they would sleep through the movie time! Kids! I was so cute to see Hannah and Liv's faces when Troy or Corbin would come onscreen. They would get these little shy smiles.....young love....how cute! It was a lot of fun and a really great movie! I don't know why, but Hannah looks terrified in the one picture! lol

How did you spend your Thursday?

I spent mine taking care of these....

and it starts...the season of sickness!!! Maybe I'm a horrible mother when it comes to this, but it's kinda nice when your kids get sick. All they want to do is snuggle and be loved. None of this battling everyday over EVER LITTLE THING (on their end)! When they are sick they are these sweet, innocent, helpless beings, and all they want is their mommy. In return you feel like your wanted and needed. It's good to be a mom!

I can't even tell you how grateful I am...I was having such a problem with my booth being empty for like a week because I was trying to make more to stock. I've been tagged!

1. I absolutely LOVE horror movies. The scarier the better...weird I know. And for some reason they seem less scary if you hold a blanket just below your eyes!

2. I hate moths sooooo much. They are demented, evil butterflies. And we get them a lot out here where we live.

3. If all there was left to eat on this earth were extra cheddar goldfish and tomato soup, I would die a happy woman!

4. I still watch reruns of Saved by the Bell!!! lol

5. I read stupid celebrity gossip magazines...my favorite day is Friday because they are all new on the shelf. My hubby goes and gets me like 5 almost every Friday! What a guy!

6. Couponing has become so addicting... I love it so much! I am having a lady come for one of my Enrichment's (November 5th 7:00pm) be there!

7. I want two more kids...aaahhhhhhhh.....crazy I know. The thought of not having another makes me wanna cry, that's how I know we are not done. I'm not announcing anything either so calm down! lol

Now I tag: Mom, Jeana, Mindy, Heather, Kahra, Rachel, and Jen!

Called to serve in........

ROME, ITALY

That is where my little brother Jake will be serving his mission come February! We are so excited for him and know that he will be an amazing missionary. The people there are lucky to have him, as he will be greatly missed by us all, but not as much as the big sis...I love you Jake!

Wednesday, October 15, 2008

I am now finding time to blog about our trip. It may be a long post, but funny I promise. So here we start off with the mandatory muster. We were shoved in the dinning room. So if our ship were to sink we were toast! But my parents were out on the deck of the ship right under a lifeboat, what gives? So here is my sis in law and I pulling a titanic move...

So many nights we would bust a move on the pool deck and here we are right after getting on the ship making ourselves known. Jake is the king of dance and became famous for shaking his butt after about 5 minutes of being on the ship! Our favorite dance...The Cupid Shuffle.

Here is my hubby moments before he wins Belly Flopping Champion! I am so proud. My dad came in second! It was hysterical!!! Jake also won in the sexy legs compition and my 2 sis in laws were in the sexiest biceps!

One of my favorite peeps to have ever walked this earth...my little bro Jake. This kid is overwhelmingly exhausting, but in a good way. I have never laughed so much in my life! He was so much fun! This pic was taken in between karaoke songs which we went to regularly.

Me after I did a zip line over a jungle and the ocean! It was amazing. These guys from Haiti were fighting over who went where during the pic and as you can see an altercation took place! They were playing of course.

Brad and I in Jamaica just before we went snorkeling and climbed up the face of a waterfall. Our favorite part of the trip! We didn't get any pics of it cause our camera would have gotten soaked, but we have a really funny video that the guide took!

The chicks chillin after snorkeling

We got my parents to go onstage and do the newlywed game show. It was the funniest thing ever....and that is all I will say about that!

Us at Margaritaville in Grand Cayman

There is a ton more to blog about, but I'm hungry and tired so I'll post more later! Peace.
