Gratitude Trees

I'm sure all of you have seen the gratitude trees that pop up at the start of November.
It's an awesome way to get your kids involved in the Thanksgiving season and a great reminder everyday to see all that you have been blessed with.

I whipped up some leaves that can be printed and you and your family just take the time each day to write something you are grateful for and place it on your tree.

Here are several different versions of trees and TONS more if you follow this link to Pinterest!

Costume Ideas

I start thinking about Halloween costumes in May I swear! lol.....it is my absolute favorite time of the year and favorite holiday!  I love unique and creative costumes!  So how in the world can I keep my son from wanting to be Iron Man for the 4th time in a row?! :)  I do love how much he loves Iron Man.

I have lost control on what my kids wear for their costume.....they are older now and know what they want to be.  I have accepted that.  And I love they they are just as creative with what they want to be as I would be!
Here are some ideas of awesome costumes!  Some from my Pinterest board and others of my family!  Enjoy!

Mouse Trap......STINKIN ADORABLE!!!!!

Studly Superman

Ninja Turtle

This is what my 9 year old is going to be.....80's pop star!
Costume found here.

50's Girl

My cute girl as a gypsy.....believe it or not, I found this awesome costume at TJMAXX!

Same cute girl last year as The Mad Hatter.  This costume got RAVE reviews and is by far my most favorite.....EVER!  Costume found here.

My brother for the last two years has totally outdone all of us with his costumes.  Here he is as
Edward Scissorhands

and there he is again with his wife and son as Jack, Sally and Zero! :)  That's my husband and I as Tom Hank's from Castaway and Wilson!

I hope this helps get some of those juices flowin....Halloween is just around the corner....YAY!

Halloween Decor Galore!

I cannot tell you how much I {LOVE} this time of the year.....Halloween is my all time favorite!

I finally got my beloved black table all decked out (just to have my almost two year old want to destroy everything in site)  Maybe that's why I keep putting it off?!  Ha!

If any of you are interested in the print I have in my frame you can get it here for FREE!  There are also
lots of others for you to choose from :)
All props go to Summertime Designs for the graphics on my Halloween printables :)  She's just great!

I love these jars!  You can find the tutorial here on how I made them.  Please don't judge the post.  This was 4 years ago mind you....lol!  You can do so many
things with them as far as seasons and holidays.  A must have in your home decor in my opinion :)

You can never go wrong when glitter is involed.  I once saw a shirt that said
"Glitter is my favorite color"
I wanted it desperately, to bad it only came in sizes 2T - 6T :(  LOL!

I got this ADORABLE guy at a boutique here in Utah called "The Hive"

I just love all of his detail, especially the eyes!

Got this cute bunting there as well......

I got these paper mache boxes at Tai Pan many moons ago.....still one of my favorite
Halloween decorations! :)

Hope you all are enjoying decorating for the holidays as much as I am!

Stay tuned for my Organized Pantry reveal!  What a job that was.....WHEW!

Hi. It's me. It's been awhile.

Let's just start off by saying......1. I'm not even sure how to do this anymore and 2. I seriously doubt anyone is even following anymore :(

All I can say is Life Happens.  You have surgery, husband has surgery, you have a baby, baby has surgery, you start to have knee problems and should have knee surgery but you are SO DANG SICK of the word surgery!  Not to mention the bills :)  Fun times.  Fun times.

So.....if you are still lingering about I would love to hear from you.  Just a simple hi, I'm here comment would do my heart some good.

Moving on from my apologizes for being the suckiest (yep, I just made that a word) blogger to ever exist! lol
I'm just gonna dive in with something I know and love, Pinterest.  And share with you some of my favorite things I have seen on this beautiful, genius of a website.

I'm loving this ping pong ball pendant light.  Possibly for the office hanging above my desk.

Anyone else as obsessed with fonts?  I have hundreds.  I love how this gives you an idea of combos.

I think these colors together are AWESOME!

Now that school is back is session I know my kids would just love these for an after school snack!

My son would DIE.  He is obsessed with all things superhero, especially Iron Man (so we would have to figure that one out)

So there you have it.  A few of my Pinteresobsessed things :)

Give Thanks

I really can't believe it's November?! Anyone else a little shocked at this one?

Like many, this time is my most favorite time of the year!  I took a few pictures of how I like to decorate for the (I think) much overlooked holiday of Thanksgiving.

I may or may not have had Christmas music playing while I decorated....that's not against the rules is it?
...
After all, if they had Thanksgiving music I would have listened to that :)
