4th of July candy filled firework!

Next to Halloween, the 4th is my favorite holiday! I whipped something up today that is so simple and so fun!

Wrap some cute 4th of July paper around a empty toilet paper roll

Stuff some (i used a small cellophane bag), but you could use a sandwich baggie if you would like, into the top of the toilet paper roll.
I just like the stiffness of the cellophane.

Once you have the bag placed in the top and stuffed down, put in your candies.

Loosely tie some jute around the baggie

Place some fun wire twisties in the top and tighten the jute in a knot

I glued a big wooden star to the front!
Whip these out while your waiting for the fireworks to start! The kids will love the fun surprise inside!

Seems difficult to find new 4th of July treat ideas, but you have come up with quite a sweet-clever idea!! Timing is perfect too, as I have about 6 empty TP rolls on-hand. Thanks bunches for sharing!

Oooh, I love this! I'll have to tear the rolls away from my mom's boston terrier, though. She loves ripping them apart - the dog, not my mom ;)

Would love for you to link this up to Fab Finds for the Fourth. Starts tomorrow and 2 following Thursdays.
