Smells of the Holiday.....neighbor gift idea!

The countdown is on for Christmas and with a son with a birthday on the 21st and my husbands on the 28th I need to be more than on top of it for Christmas! Ahhhhhhhh!

I am good to have a handle on gifts, but when it comes to the "little things" I can loose track!
*Christmas cards
*Dance team gifts
*Neighbor gifts
*Teacher gifts
*Yummy treats and baking
*Etc....etc....etc

Here is what I whipped up this year for my neighbors.  I got this great idea off of Pinterest (of course)
Her blog can be found here.

It is a bag filled with sweet Christmas yumness!

*One whole orange
*1/2 cup cranberries
*1 Tbsp. whole cloves
*Cinnamon sticks
*A bit of nutmeg if desired

Put all of the ingredients together in a cute bag and add a little instructions and a cute tag and you are good to go!

This little bag of goodness will last ALL season long.  I have had mine for a week now and it's still going strong :)

Can you believe these are shopping bags from Trader Joe's?  I only wish the closest one to me wasn't more than an hour away :(

Letters like these can be found at any local craft store.  These one specifically...Michaels.

Simple, but oh so cute!  I'm sure we all have LOADS of scrapbooking paper lying around the house.
Put it to good use!

I am definitely one that has hopped on the chalkboard bandwagon.  I just can't get enough!

Staying on the same page as chalkboard, here are some free gift tags for you to use in your wrapping!
I hope you get some good use out of them :)

Great Mother's Day Gift!

Mother's Day is just around the corner! I can't believe we are into the middle of April!
Well this next project is something I made for my dad last Father's Day, but could easily be done for that mother in your life!
I bought my frame at Michael's, make sure it comes with a matte board already in it! I covered the board with some of my favorite paper and Mod Podged over it (love that stuff). I added ribbon and from there I wrote down a bunch of words that best describe my dad (or mother) and also included the names of my brothers and mom and formed it in Photoshop (love that even more than Mod Podge!) I used different fonts and sizes and colors....That is it! Printed it off a Costco for .13 (HELLO) He loved it and it was so easy to do! You could do it for anybody as a gift!
