They're baacckk......

So last night I was painting some letters for my blocks and happened upon VH1 doing a 2 hour special on New Kids on the Block. In case you were living under a rock, they were the hottest thing in the early 90's and this video of Step by Step was one of my favorites. And little 11 year old me was absolutely IN LOVE with Jordan Knight. I had pillow cases, sheets, posters, dolls, videos, buttons, the list could go on. I was devastated when they came to Utah for their tour and I wasn't going. That is until my friend Trisha Pace called me up and invited me to go. I couldn't even believe it. This was my first concert ever. I still remember sitting there when the intro started and I finally saw them. Tears were pouring down my face, I could not control myself. The screaming was so loud you couldn't even hear them sing. It was the coolest thing ever. So back to the VH1 special, kinda weird to see those once young, beautiful boys now trying to come back thinking they still got it. Ok maybe they still got it, just a little, but lets leave the past in the past. Don't ruin all of our teeny bopper images of you back in the day. Jordan with his braided tail, Danny with his poof of hair, and Joey with his hole hat!

Happy Anniversary to us!

Today is our 8 year anniversary and I can hardly believe it! Time has flown by so fast...too fast for me. I sit back sometimes and wish that it would slow down. Before we know it our kids will be grown and on their own. It makes me cry just thinking about it...no literally, I am soaking my keyboard right now! lol! I think we have accomplished quite a bit, don't ya think...

I can't stand those mushy women out there who write about how perfect there husbands and kids are and how their little fairy tale life is so blissful....makes me wanna puke! Nobody life is perfect, especially ours, but you know what, I wouldn't change it for the world. Here I go turning into one of the mushy ones....so to Brad I say thank you. Thank you for loving me when I know most of the time I'm impossible to love. Thank you for supporting me in all I do and most of all, thank you for being a wonderful dad. (He is downstairs right now having a slumber party with Hannah and Livie and watching Bugs Life! How cute is that!) Happy Anniversary Brad. I think Hannah (when she was three) sums it up best...I love you!

Watch out ladies....hide your girls!

Look at these two little studs! I watched my nephew last night so Adam and Brad could go golfing and I needed to give my kids baths so I put Landon and Boston in together and they had a blast. I was adding bubbles like crazy to hide their "Danger Zone" as uncle Jake puts it!..lol...They play so good together! I love those boys. Check out Boston's face on the second pic!!! They are gonna be heartbreakers don't ya think?!

Look at me go.....

I just got done with our new page. My eyes were starting to blur staring at the computer screen, but you know when your on to something and you just can't stop. That was me. So tell me what you think. I love figuring stuff out on my own. Like moving the text to center on my header. I was so proud of myself I almost screamed. Then I remembered the sleeping kiddos. I wanted to call up my mom, then looked at the clock 10:45...long gone in la la land was she. So here I sit, basking in my own glory with my own self. How pathetic am I? Now that I know how to do more fun stuff, don't be surprise to see my page change often...lol

This weeks shopping was a success again! Yippie...I can't find my receipt, but I do know I only spent $16.00 and saved $55.00! It's like an addiction....but a good one!

Also here is a way cute picture of me and the hubby. He has been so amazingly helpful with my craziness of Quilted Bear, letting me go out with friends or my mom to get a break, and dealing with me and all my parties I throw. Thanks hon for putting up with it all! I love you!(Pay no attention to the fattiness under my chin and the fact that Brad hasn't shaved, a big fight between the two of us often...lol)

Go Cougars...haters not allowed to comment! lol

This is a little late, but hey better late than never. Brad and his dad took the girls to the BYU game last Saturday where the pounded the other team 59-0! The girls had so much fun with daddy and g-gold. And I have to say, it was a pretty nice break for me as well. Bos and I just hung out and worked on what else....BLOCKS! As you can see from the following pics, I have taught my hubby well! Take lots of pictures....Thank you hon! Also on Tuesday Hannah had a walk-a-thon for school to raise some funds. The kids walked around the track and if they did 100 laps they got a gold medal. Hannah was 22 laps away with like 10 minutes left. In one of the pictures you can see Brad running with her so she could get her medal, and she did. She was so excited. Way to go Hannah!

My other secret love....coupons!

As many of you know, I have been doing Pinching your Pennies for quit some time now...and can I just say it is the greatest thing EVER! When getting in line behind someone with coupons I would roll my eyes and think, "are you serious!" Now I'm the one hacking people off, and I LOVE it. Brad is completely shocked at the amounts I save each and every week. It is like a game for me. Last week I shopped my best week to date. This is everything thing I got at Albertson's....

10 Dannon Yogurts
5 Boxes Electrosol
4 Boxes granola bars
2 Boxes Instant oatmeal
10 Healthy choice meals
1 Carton OJ
1 Loaf bread
My total should have been $91.65, but after coupons and my preferred card I spend a whopping $19.61! I saved $72.04!!! That is less than .60 an item. Bravo to me I say! You all should really try it. My food storage has also grow from nothing into this...

I know it's not huge, but it's more than we had 2 months ago which was nothing!

Pony tail streamers!!!

Ok...so I'm at it again! Brad, I'm sure, is getting annoyed. One day I'm doing blocks, then I'm doing picture frames and now hair bows. But hey I'm making us some money!!! I saw some of these up at Swiss Days and I even bought some for $10!!! I thought I could make those and charge less, so that's what I've done. I'm going to put them in my booth and we will see how they do! Wish em luck...and let me know what you think. Or if you have color combo ideas, that would be great! Love you all!

Eat, live, breathe soccer....I don't think so!

Hannah has started soccer and what a way to start out. First we pre pre registered her. Which means we registered her way early to get the discount. Only until two days before her first game did we get a phone call stating that she has no coach and between me and the other parents we need to "figure it out!" What! I was so annoyed. So anyway, we finally get Hannah's jersey the night before and she is so excited that she sleeps in it! We show up to the field the next day and nobody knows what is going on. All the games were 30 minutes behind, luckily a girl from our ward, her sis plays on Hannah's team, decides to coach. She plays for Fremont! She saved the day. But those poor girls only have 6 on their team, nobody to sub out. They were so exhausted. Hannah loved it, but not that much, she said! Needless to say, it was a very looonnnggg Saturday. (Note the matching hair bow I made Hannah, Brad thinks I'm a nerd!)

Did I mention Brad wasn't there to help me out. I sent him on a exotic car tour for my brothers birthday! Set up thankfully by my other bro Josh who works at Luxury Imports. The drove a Viper, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lotus, and a Porche. Anyway they had a blast! Happy early birthday Adam!

Livie Lovin Preschool

So Wednesday was Livie's first day of preschool. A very exciting day for her I might add. The night before we went and met her teacher and took a little tour of her school. All night and the next morning it was "is it time yet for my school?" Non-stop...I thought I was going to lose my mind. Finally the time came. I thought she would have a hard time, but it was more like see ya later mom. So off went Boston and I to grocery shop. I didn't know what to do with myself. One child while shopping. I was done with three stores in like an hour. So much time left over, not normal. So I showed up 15 minutes early to get Livie. I was not the only mom there early, there were like 6, other than me. She came running out with her friends and didn't stop talking about the fun things she got to do. What a big girl and what an old mom I feel like. Two in school. Livie still continues to say, "I'm a fourth grader mom!" "No livie, you are four and in preschool." "Seriously?", she says. I love that girl!!!
